OMG LFW SS12 = BRILL.
Or, in plain English, London Fashion Week spring/summer 2012 looked brilliant. In every sense of the word.
And I’m not just talking about the clothes – the make-up was stunning too. So, given that make-up trends are part of the ever-changing face of fashion, it’s only right that Yesterface documents the best of LFW SS12! Enjoy…
LFW SS12 Beauty Highlights
1. Vivienne Westwood
Make-up artist Alex Box created a cocktail of bold, bright and beautiful looks. Very dreamy, very vibrant – very spring / summer!
2. Topshop Unique
Toppers SS12 is right up Yesterface’s street with its Ancient Egyptian inspired look. The Hieroglyphic nails are AMAZO, and the gold leaf ‘do brings a whole new meaning to the phrase shiny hair…
Yes, times may be hard at the mo due to the [insert newsreader voice] “current economic climate”, but Topshop’s luxurious-looking trend is set to make us feel worth our weight in gold. (Geddit? Gold… Currency… Economy… Yep.)
3. Mark Fast
Sharon Dowset created an earthy, exotic look for Mark Fast’s desert themed collection. I have but one word for this: HOT!
4. Paul Costelloe
Pass the pastel… Shall defs be investing in this punchy colour come Spring. If not sooner. The colour in question being Bourjois Regard Effet Metallise eyeliner – 54 Bleu Clinquant. Love the super-defined lashes and jet black eyeliner, too.
Get ready to look starry eyed. Georgina Graham’s sparkly artwork has proven it’s possible to wear glitter on your face without looking like a five year old. All you need is MAC PRO glitter and some dark vampish lippy to offset the girly glitz.
