If you’re keen on establishing a skin care routine but aren’t quite sure where to begin, why not try out The Model Kit from Premier Model Skin.

The kit, which is produced by leading skin care brand Monu, contains a variety of skin care essentials, all of which are effective and easy to use. It’s the perfect starter pack for any skin care novice.

The Model Kit consists of seven travel size products in total, and each 30ml item is airport legal, meaning you can easily stick to your new skin care regime wherever you go.

The Model Kit also comes with a transparent zip-up wallet that’s great for travelling. The kit was originally designed for models with jetset lifestyles, but has now been made available to purchase online.

The Model Kit costs £45, which works out at roughly £6 per item, so a fairly reasonable price. However if you don’t have that much cash to splash you can always buy the products individually at premiermodelskin.com.

Read on to find out more about the kit’s seven products…

1. Cleansing Wipes

These  wipes, which include extracts of green tea and aloe vera, are great for moisturizing your face and cleansing your skin of grime and dirt.

I have fairly dry and sensitive skin but these failed to cause any irritation or breakouts. In fact they did a very good job of purifying my pores!

2. Facial Scrub

This scrub has a fine, sugary texture and feels great when gently massaged into the skin. It also contains papaya enzymes which scrape away dead skin cells.

What really surprised me about this product is how quickly it produced results; as soon as I washed away the scrub my complexion looked and felt replenished!

3. Radiance Balm

This balm encourages a taut and even complexion. It contains sweet orange essential oils, so not only does it smell delicious, but it injects moisture into the skin and therefore works well at ironing out fine lines.

You can also use the balm as a face mask by applying a thick layer to the skin and leaving it on for 15 minutes. Clever, eh?

4. Blemish Treatment

This oily serum contains salytilic acid which soothes blemishes and heals small cuts. It also contains witch hazel, an ingredient which I find reduces the appearance of broken capillaries.

This product can be quite potent, so you should only use a small dab on affected areas of the face. And avoid contact with eyes, obv.

5. Night Cream

The first time I applied this cream my skin instantly felt more supple. I put it on just before going to bed, and when I woke the next day my complexion looked visibly smoother. Result.

This product contains aloe vera, Vitamin E, sesame and coconut oils, and geranium oil. Consequently the cream has a soothing aroma, which is perfect for helping you fall asleep.

6. Collagen Eye Pads

A relaxing way to plump and brighten the delicate skin surrounding your eyes. I quite enjoyed using these eye pads – even if it was purely for pampering’s sake.

7. Hand & Nail Cream

It’s worth remembering that your hands are prime targets for everyday wear and tear so it’s a good idea to look after them.

This pocket-sized cream is soothing and prevents your skin from feeling coarse. Very handy – especially during the harsh winter months.
